This Cookie Policy explains how KloudMate Technologies, Inc. ("KloudMate", "we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on kloudmate.com and our related sites and products (the "Services"), what they do, and the choices you have. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device to make the site work, remember your choices, and understand how it is used. A session cookie lasts until you close your browser; a persistent cookie stays until it expires or you delete it. Cookies set by the site you are visiting are first-party; cookies set by another domain (for example, an analytics provider) are third-party. We also use related technologies such as browser local storage and pixels, which we refer to as "cookies" here for simplicity.

How we use cookies

We use cookies for three purposes. We do not use advertising, retargeting, or social-media tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share personal data for targeted advertising.

Strictly necessary

These keep the Services working and secure, for example by signing you in, keeping your session active, and balancing load. The site cannot function properly without them, so they are not optional.

Analytics and performance

These help us understand how people use the site so we can improve it:

• Google Analytics 4 (via Google Tag Manager) measures page views, referrers, and general usage. Analytics data is processed by Google.
• KloudMate Real User Monitoring (RUM), our own first-party tool, records page performance and interactions and may capture session replays. Replays are configured to mask all form inputs, so we do not capture what you type into fields.

Security

• Google reCAPTCHA helps protect our forms from spam and abuse. It sets a cookie and communicates with Google to tell humans from bots.

Cookies we use

The main cookies and their typical lifetimes:

• _ga, ga<id> — Google Analytics, to distinguish visitors and sessions. Persistent, up to about 2 years.
• _GRECAPTCHA — Google reCAPTCHA, for abuse prevention. Persistent, about 6 months.
• KloudMate RUM storage — first-party session and performance data. Session-based.
• Session and security cookies — first-party, to keep you signed in and protect the Services. Session-based or short-lived.

Exact names and lifetimes can change as providers update their products. Google's cookies are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

Your choices

• Browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and warn you before one is set. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the Services from working.
• Google Analytics opt-out. You can opt out of Google Analytics across sites with Google's opt-out browser add-on.
• Opt-out preference signals. Where required by law, we treat recognized signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC) as a valid opt-out for that browser.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
